This 8 day Uganda wildlife adventure safari takes you to Uganda\u2019s main national parks including Murchison-Falls national park where you will see Africa\u2019s Big Five animals, Queen Elizabeth national park for game viewing and a launch cruise, Kibale Forest National park where you will track chimpanzees and Lake Bunyonyi in the south western Uganda.<\/p>\n

Detailed Itinerary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today morning your safari guide-driver from Travel Gorge Tours will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and start you on the journey to Murchison falls national park. You will have lunch in the town of Masindi but also relish in the gorgeous scenic views as you drive through the beautiful countryside on this trip. You will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will track the Rhinos (optional activity) and later arrive in the park. As you transfer to your accommodation, you enjoy a game drive to see a number of animals such as buffaloes, elephants, kobs, lions and far more.<\/p>\n

Day 2: morning game drive & afternoon Launch cruise<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the lodge, take your breakfast early in the morning and then continue for your game drive. You will have an opportunity to have fun from seeing numerous wildlife like buffaloes, birds, leopards, lions, elephants to mention but a few. After having lunch in the afternoon, proceed for the boat cruise and get a chance to see a number of species such as birds, hippos, crocodiles and far more. You will later climb to the top of the falls before returning to your accommodation for dinner and the overnight.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Be ready for a whole day drive to Kibaale National park after taking breakfast at the lodge, lunch will be taken in the town of Fort Portal and you can also appreciate the special crater lakes when you visit the Amabeere caves. You will later advance to Kibaale national park where you will spend the night.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Chimp tracking, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will go for a briefing at the headquarters of Kibale forest national park after having an early breakfast. Enjoy the chimpanzee tracking adventure in this rich and breathtaking forest. The chimpanzees are some of the primates you will be able to spot at a good angle in addition to others such as the Blue and Red-tailed monkeys, the L\u2019hoests plus the Colobus. You will further more see the grey cheeked Mangabeys jumping from one tree to another in the thick forest plus numerous tiny insects, bird species as well as butterflies. when you eventually meet them, the guide will allow you an hour to observe and discover more about the daily lives of the chimps and try to get to know them, you will also be allowed to take photographs, but please don not forget to turn your camera flash-light off.\u00a0 Afterwards, you will go get your luggage from the lodge and head out to Queen Elizabeth national park driving through the town of Kasese with the majestic Rwenzori Mountain in the background.<\/p>\n

Day 5: Morning Game Drive, Explore Katwe Salt Lake <\/strong><\/p>\n

Get up early morning and have a lovely breakfast. In order to see many animals that get up early like the buffaloes, birds, kobs, lions, antelopes, elephants and so many others, you need to be ready for a game drive at the break of dawn. Pack your lunch and then head out to the salty lake of Katwe. In the afternoon after lunch, continue for a boat cruise in order to see hippos, birds, crocodiles and far more. As you head back towards the lodge later on in the evening, you can have fun on a game drive around the park.<\/p>\n

Day 6: Travel to Bwindi national park <\/strong><\/p>\n

After taking breakfast at the lodge Head out to Bwindi Gorilla park driving through the Ishasha sector. You will have an opportunity of sighting multiple animals such as the red Topis, oribis, water bucks as well as the lions that climb trees. You will enjoy a packed lunched along the way and finally arrive in Bwindi later in the evening.<\/p>\n

Day 7: Gorilla trekking & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very early morning, you will transfer to at the headquarters of the park at the break of dawn for a briefing from the rangers of the park about the rules and regulations when setting out on the gorilla trekking adventure. Continue to the forest for a once in a life time adventure. Basing on the gorillas\u2019 movements, this activity can last for one to five hours. You will get time to observe and take photographs of the great apes before leaving the gorilla habitat. Later drive to Lake Bunyonyi NP where you will have a canoe ride and spend the night.<\/p>\n

Day 8: Departure to Kampala<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once in Kampala, you will be dropped at a hotel of your preference or at the Entebbe airport for your departure flight. This will mark the end of your safari.<\/p>\n
