This archipelago comprises of 84 islands so during this tour you will get a chance to explore one of the largest islands as you enjoy the beautiful white sand, peaceful weather and the nice African sunshine.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1:\u00a0 Transfer to Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria<\/p>\n<p>Day 2: Explore Ssese Island<\/p>\n<p>Day 3: Visit the Zoo, Departure<\/p>\n<p>Detailed Itinerary<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 1:\u00a0 Transfer to Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, the driver-guide from Travel Gorge Tours you will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and transfer you to the Entebbe pier and there you will catch a ferry to the Ssese Islands. You will proceed to Nakiwogo landing site where the ferry decks and departs at 2pm each day arriving at 5pm on the island. Alternatively you can connect to the islands from Masaka on a 2 hours ferry crossing. On arrival at the island, you will be transferred to your accommodation, there you will spend the rest of the evening at leisure and in the night you will sit by the campfire and get a chance to interact with other holidaymakers at the lodge.<\/p>\n<p>Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: Explore the Island<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be a day of exploring the island and you will get chance to do so in very many ways. You may head out early to catch sight of the morning sunrise, or take a nature walk to the pristine forests guided by one of the local guides during which you will see various bird species and primates. You may opt for other optional activities such as squad biking, fishing or cycling. Return for lunch at the lodge and choice to spend the rest of the day at leisure at the lodge or enjoy beach volleyball, or take a stroll on the beach or go swimming.<\/p>\n<p>Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Day 3: Visit the Zoo, Departure <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be the final day of our adventure on the Ssese Islands. After a nice breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier at Bugala Island where the ferry leaves for the mainland at Entebbe where it will arrive at 11:00am. Once in Entebbe, you will have a tour at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center formerly known as the zoo where you will see various animals found in Uganda.
